 Dr. Inga Koehler is a chemist and has been working since 2004 as a scientific consultant for Phytopharm Research, a division of analyze & realize ag. Due to many years of working in the field of pharmaceutical biology, she has a fundamental knowledge of phytopharmaceutical research. The emphasis of Dr. Koehler's work was on the phytochemical investigation of traditionally used plants, such as the characterization of their biologically active ingredients. Many journeys to West Africa have given her a wide ethnobotanical knowledge, which acts as a basis for her research. This was followed by two years working as a scientist in the customs laboratory, where she gained a great deal of experience in the areas of food analysis and quality control. Additionally, she was a freelance author for a phytotherapeutically oriented magazine for many years. Through this multifaceted, interdisciplinary experience, Dr. Koehler is prepared to address difficult phytopharmaceutical situations and find practical solutions for them. |
