After perennially working as a practice nurse Ms Moenke-Liebig studied German linguistics at the Freie Universitaet Berlin, Germany. She then worked as a secretary in the department of Cardiology (Prof. Fleck, MD) at the Deutsches Herzzentrum Berlin, Germany. Afterwards she was responsible for two wards in the department of Internal Medicine (Prof. Kleber, MD) at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin Marzahn, Germany.

As part of her duties at the hospitals she came in contact with clinical trials but it was not until she came to Phytopharm Research, that she had the chance to prove her talent and continually increase her knowledge. She was significantly involved in creating SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for clinical trials, according to the guidelines of “Good Clinical Practice” (GCP), as well as in building up a secretariat of clinical trials.

Ms Moenke-Liebig organizes and coordinates every part of clinical trials and is not only the contact for the sponsoring pharmaceutical firms but also for the investigators and patients or people who are interested in joining clinical trials.
